Bella is now six weeks old, and quite a handful for her devoted mother.

When this is published (N) OffBeat Bella is six weeks old. She runs with a speed one wouldn't believe a small kitten like her would be capable of. She plays, she flirts with the other cats, she nags, she smiles, she thinks the world spins around her – and of course she is right.

The other cats are now very used to Bella the Diva. They just turn a blind eye to her when she gets too intense.

Harriet is a patient mother, but it is obvious she now wants a little space of her own once in a while. She seldom gets it, though. Because when Bella calls, Harriet is there. On the spot.

Neither the Oriental nor the Siamese cat are cats for the average cat lover. These cats demand more, but they also give more. The Siamese and the Oriental shorthair are basically the same kind of cat, the only thing that separate them from each other are their colours and patterns. The Siamese has the coloured points (face, ears, legs and tail are coloured, and the body should be creamy white or light), while the Oriental shorthair is coloured all over and can be solid or patterned (mackerel, spotted or blotched). The body type, head and so forth are the same. As is the mental condition!
